A 52-year-old Cinnaminson man was charged with domestic violence after police were called to a Parry Road residence Nov. 6, according to the Cinnaminson Police Department.
Police responded to the residence at 3:49 a.m. for a report of a domestic violence assault and possible gunshot.
The female victim was able to get away and call 911 before police arrived and setup a perimeter. Upon arrival, the suspect was presumed armed and dangerous and allegedly refused to surrender peacefully, according to police.
Due to the nature of the incident, the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office along with the New Jersey State Police Teams Unit were contacted and responded to the scene.
The man was charged with domestic violence strangulation, a second-degree crime. He was remanded to the Burlington County Jail on a warrant awaiting a detention hearing.
