Skimming device found in ATM machine at Cinnaminson Wawa

The Cinnaminson Township Police Department retrieved a skimming device and pinhole camera at the Wawa located at 2114 Church Road on Sept. 22. The devices were allegedly installed at 8 p.m. Sept. 21. The skimming device and pinhole camera were found on the one ATM machine located directly to the left of the lottery machine. The ATM was last serviced on July 26, according to Police Chief Rich Calabrese.

Police provided video surveillance of the suspect. Anyone who used that ATM machine between July 26 and Sept. 22 should immediately check their bank statements to see if any fraudulent transactions were made. If you observe any fraudulent transactions, immediately notify your bank and then call the Cinnaminson Township Police Department at (856) 829-6667 ext. 2073 which is the investigating officer’s direct line to make a report.  The officer will call you back to assist you through the process.
