Shop Washington Township Tax Rebate

I am pleased to announce that a large amount of residents are taking advantage of this mutually beneficial program and I am very happy to hear it. I would like to thank the participating businesses of the Shop Washington Township Program and the residents of Washington Township for participating in this Program. If you would like a Shop Washington Township card, you can pick one up at the Municipal Building at 523 Egg Harbor Road, Sewell. Cards are available in every department of the Municipal Building. You need to register your card before you are able to shop at the participating businesses. For a list of participating businesses, visit https://www.propertytaxcard.com/.

I am happy to report more progress in regards to Economic Development in Washington Township. Our Economic Development Consultant, Nancy Mozzachio, has been actively networking with many professionals in town to discuss ways to grow Washington Township. She has been reaching out to brokers of shopping centers She has also been communicating with many business owners in the Township to promote the Shop Washington Township Program. We anticipate the list to continue growing. If you are a business and want to join this great shop local program, please contact Nancy Mozzachio at [email protected].

Tax Bills

The tax bills were mailed out on Aug. 18. Payment can be made by personal checks, money orders or by clicking ONLINE BILL PAY and following the prompts. No cash will be accepted. If you have any questions, please reach out to the Washington Township Tax Collector at [email protected] or 856-589-0520 ext. 2257.

Safety Reminders

Public safety remains a top priority for my administration, which is the reason we worked together with the board of education to make sure our schools have extra police presence during the school days. I would like to remind all residents to please be aware of our school buses, our students walking or riding their bikes to school, and please be mindful of your speeds when driving through developments and school crossing areas. We want to keep our children in our community safe at all times and we need your help to accomplish this goal. I would like to wish all of the students and teachers another safe and productive school year.
