Burlington County Summer Restaurant Week kicking off this Sunday

More than 115 restaurants and eateries participating, including establishments from all 40 Burlington County towns

Burlington County foodies will have more choices than ever before during the upcoming Burlington County Summer Restaurant Week.

The weeklong celebration of Burlington County restaurants, taverns, food trucks and craft beverage businesses kicks off Sunday with more than 115 participating restaurants, including at least one from all 40 of Burlington County’s municipalities.

“From Bass River to Bordentown and everywhere in between, Burlington County’s Summer Restaurant Week features more restaurants and delicious specials than ever before,” said Burlington County Commissioner Director Felicia Hopson. “Burlington County has some of the best restaurants anywhere and we’re looking forward to celebrating, spotlighting and sampling them during this exciting week.”

Summer Restaurant Week is organized and promoted by the Burlington County Commissioners in partnership with state Sen. Troy Singleton and the Burlington County Regional Chamber of Commerce. Throughout the week, they will highlight participating establishments by making visits and posting spotlights about the businesses on social media.

Many participating restaurants and eateries have also created Restaurant Week menus, specials, unique dishes and discounts to mark the event.

Among the specials announced, Gaetano’s of Willingboro has created “Gaetano’s Fusion Feast” – a fixed price menu featuring a mix of the restaurant’s legendary cheesesteak subs with other beloved Italian dinner creations.

Others are offering three course or four-course menus, including Iron Hill Restaurant and Brewery in Maple Shade, Braddock’s Tavern in Medford, Luna y Sol Mexican Restaurant in Moorestown, Estia Taverna in Marlton, Joe Italiano’s in Moorestown, Red Lion Diner in Southampton and Capt’n Chucky’s Crab Cake Co. in Cinnaminson. Marblehead Chowder House in Westampton is also offering Restaurant Week lunch and dinner menus during the week.

A complete list of all 116 participating restaurants and offers is available online at the County’s Burlington County Summer Restaurant Week page, www.co.burlington.nj.us/1844/Summer-Restaurant-Week-2023 . Also, be sure to follow the Burlington County Commissioners, Sen. Singleton and the Burlington County Regional Chamber of Commerce on Facebook and Instagram for restaurant spotlights, photos and videos of many of the delectable dishes the local restaurants are serving.

“In every corner of Burlington County, we have amazing restaurants including many small family-run businesses, whose owners and employees are neighbors, family or friends,” said Sen. Singleton. “These businesses are important gathering spots and are essential to our communities and downtowns. Restaurant Week is our way to support and showcase them and give them a much-deserved boost in business.”

“From cheesesteaks and wings to fusion and fine dining, Burlington County has it all. No matter your tastes, Restaurant Week is a great way to support local restaurants and their employees,” added Burlington County Regional Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Kristi Howell.
