County to begin road resurfacing work on Tuckerton Road in Medford, Medford Lakes

Motorists using the road are advised to seek alternative routes

Burlington County plans to begin resurfacing a section of Tuckerton Road in Medford and Medford Lakes next week as part of its State Funded Overlay Program.

Pavement milling and overlay work on 3.6 miles of the road, also known as County Route 620, is scheduled to begin on Thursday, Aug. 10, and is expected to take about three weeks to complete. Traffic will be maintained through the work areas between Heath Road and County Route 541, but motorists using the road will likely experience delays and are advised to seek alternative routes.

The work is being performed by Earle Asphalt Co., of Farmingdale, as part of the annual road resurfacing program.
