The former WOW (Will-Moor Obstacle Warriors) program held at Will-Moor Gymnastics in Mount Laurel is moving to a new facility located in the Moorestown Field House at 605 Glen Avenue. The program inspired The Ninja Fitness Zone owner, Marc Schneider-the Mohawk Ninja, to open his own gym, providing existing and new athletes the needed space to hone their skills and grow as ninjas.
The Ninja Fitness Zone offers level training programs including the Ninja Tots program starting at age 3, the Ninja Fit program starting at age 6 and the Advanced Ninja Team program for kids and teens looking to train and compete. Adult beginner to Ninja classes will be offered in the evenings. The Ninja Fitness Zone has something for everyone, including summer camps; open/drop-in gym times; the salmon ladder; the spider climb and the warped wall.
“Ninja training parallels life; there will always be obstacles in the way but overcoming them is what the sport of Ninja is all about,” Schneider said. “At the Ninja Fitness Zone, we will inspire our athletes and teach them that failure is part of the process of growth.”
Alongside Schneider is his daughter and former gymnast, coach Madison. Having been an accomplished gymnast she has a strong foundation for the skills needed to be a ninja, which has grown to be one of her favorite hobbies. “Ninja training is a fun way to stay active and challenge myself both physically and mentally,” Madison said.
Schneider and Madison are excited to see years of dreaming and hours of hard work become a reality at The Ninja Fitness Zone. They want their dream ninja gym to bring hours of hard work and smiles to the community just as the sport has brought for them.
The Ninja Fitness Zone will open its doors on Friday, June 2, hosting a free open house from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. All are welcome to stop by. Local and celebrity ninjas will be there to help support the newest ninja community gym.
