Scouts troops spaghetti dinner serves residents

Special to The Sun: First United Methodist Church in Moorestown offered its kitchen to the Scouts to prepare the meals.

Boy Scout Troop 44’s annual spaghetti dinner on April 29 served more than 400 people.

First United Methodist Church in Moorestown provided its kitchen facilities to the Scouts so they could prepare the meals. It is through the community’s generosity that the troop can participate in numerous outings, activities, events and camping adventures offered each year and continue its volunteer service missions, the Scouts noted.

Troop 44 is chartered by William H. Snyder American Legion Post 42. Members meet every Thursday at 7 p.m. at the church. More information can be found at https://www.troop44bsa.com.
