Medford Township Council meeting will be held at 7 p.m. at the Public Safety building, 91 Union St.

Wednesday, May 3

Medford Economic Development Commission meeting will be held at 7 p.m. at Medford Town Hall, 49 Union St.

Saturday, May 6

Over 50 artists and craftsmen will be featured at the Medford Arts Center Spring Art and Craft Fair from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 6. The rain or shine event will be held at the Gazebo Park on Main Street and at the Medford Arts Center, 8 N. Main Street in Medford.

Thursday, May 18

Third Thursday Food Trucks on Main Street returns from 5-9 p.m. Next date May 18.

Participating food trucks include Bake n’ Bacon, Brotherly Love Cheesesteak Spring Roll Co., Cousin’s Maine Lobster, Dominic’s Tavern Food Truck, Empanada Guy Food Truck, Jay’s Crabshack, Karnival Foods, Maria’s Authentic Food, Moocheeze, Red’s Rolling Restaurant LLC, Smokin’ Addiction BBQ and The Little Sicilian.

Thursday, May 25

Lenape High School will host the Spring Art Show – Art, Photography, and Fashion – from 6-8 p.m. May 25, in the north gym at the high school, 235 Hartford Road, Medford. Students will showcase their talents; paintings, sculptures, ceramics, photography, graphic design, clothing and more will be on display.

Deadline May 26

The Medford Township Police Department is hosting a week-long Junior Police Academy Day Camp, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. daily, from July 10-14. The purpose of the Junior Police Academy for kids ages 11-14 is to provide young citizens with an introduction to law enforcement.

Applications are available at www.medford-police.org. Deadline for applications, which must be sent in person, is 4:30 p.m. May 26. For more information contact Lt. James D’Averso at [email protected] at (609) 654-7511 ext. 160.

Helping Hand Grief Support meets Mondays at Fellowship Alliance Chapel from 7-9 p.m. Meetings are hybrid with in-person at our church facility, and via Zoom Communications at the same time. Additional information can be found at: http://helpinghandgriefsupport.org or email: [email protected].

Medford Township is offering a limited number of garden plots in Freedom Park. Each plot is approximately 25’ x 25’, but due to the large demand, plots can be divided into halves and quarters for those who prefer a smaller plot. For more information on the garden plot program, contact the Manager’s Office at 609-654-2608 x330.
