Cherry Hill library’s citizenship prep program returns

These are weekly, one-hour Tuesday sessions for five to six weeks.

The Cherry Hill library will continue its classes on citizenship preparation Tuesday, April 18 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Registration is open and required at chplnj.org.

The classes are for anyone who plans to take the U.S. citizenship test. These are weekly, one-hour Tuesday sessions for five to six weeks.

To prepare, two instructors will help students to understand questions on the test on history, government, geography and national traditions; to practice the reading and writing sections of the test; and to review conversational skills necessary to pass.

The class is designed for active participation by students, with time each week to answer their questions.
