Spring is here! As the seasons change, the American Red Cross is reminding the public that the need for blood doesn’t take a break. Blood and platelets remain at risk of running low this month. Donors are crucial to helping the Red Cross avoid a blood shortage in the weeks to come.
Donors of all blood types, especially type O donors and platelet donors, are encouraged to make and keep appointments to donate. Book a time to give by visiting RedCrossBlood.org, downloading the Red Cross Blood Donor App, or calling 1-800-RED CROSS.

Thirteenth annual Medford Easter Egg Hunt will be held at 11 a.m. April 1 at Freedom Park, 86 Union St. The egg hunt is sponsored by the Medford Vincentown Rotary Club and Shawnee and Seneca High School Interact Clubs. Rain date is April 8.

What: A community wide effort “Operation Integrity 2023” to boost morale of U.S. Service Members in the Middle East.
Where: A Rose In December Florist parking lot: 629 Stokes Road, Medford.
When: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 2.
Why: To show our support of our brave U.S. Service members deployed to the Middle East.
Who: Local community businesses, staff/students from the Lenape Regional High School District, and the public.
Care package items from all over will be collected and then donated to Operation Yellow Ribbon to pack and ship to the military service members.

The Medford Township Police Department is hosting a week-long Junior Police Academy Day Camp, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. daily, from July 10-14. The purpose of the Junior Police Academy for kids ages 11-14 is to provide young citizens with an introduction to law enforcement.
