The book explores America’s two-tier justice system, explaining how the rich, famous and  powerful – including, most notoriously, Donald Trump – manipulate the legal system to escape justice. Honig exposes how they use the system to their own benefit and reveals how figures like Trump, Jeffrey Epstein, Harvey Weinstein and Bill Cosby successfully eluded justice for decades.

Honig previously worked for 14 years as a federal and state prosecutor. He provides on-air commentary and analysis for CNN on issues related to the Department of Justice, major criminal trials and the Supreme Court, among others. Honig was nominated for an Emmy last year and his first book, “Hatchet Man,” was a national bestseller.

“Untouchable: How Powerful People Get Away With It” was published last month. Honig also hosts podcasts and is a freelance writer who teaches at Rutgers University. A law firm special counsel, he graduated from Cherry Hill East in 1993 and from Rutgers in 1997. Honig also got his law degree at Harvard in 2000.

His book is available for purchase at Inkwood Books in Haddonfield. Register for the library event at chplnj.org.
