Deborah Heart and Lung Center appoints Gregory S. Domer, MD as chair, vascular surgery

Moorestown resident joins Deborah from St. Luke’s University Health Network

Special to The Sun: Dr. Gregory S. Domer of Moorestown has been appointed the new chair of vascular surgery and the vascular surgery fellowship director at Deborah Heart and Lung Center.

Paul Burns, MD, Chair of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Deborah Heart and Lung Center has announced the appointment of Gregory S. Domer, MD, of Moorestown, as new Chair, Vascular Surgery, and Vascular Surgery Fellowship Director.

Dr. Domer joins Deborah from St. Luke’s University Health Network where he served as Program Director, Vascular Surgery Fellowship and as an Attending Vascular Surgeon. Prior to that he was Medical Director of Vascular Surgery at Atlanticare Regional Medical Center; Program Director, Vascular Surgery Fellowship Program at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine; and spent time in a variety of vascular surgery positions at Crozer Keystone Health System and Nazareth Hospital. He is also a Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at Temple University School of Medicine.

Throughout his career Dr. Domer has spent considerable time and energy in mentoring and teaching the next generation of vascular surgeons, both through his teaching at the Temple University School of Medicine, his leadership of Fellowship Programs at the hospitals where he worked and the professional organizations he participates in.
