On Oct. 29 an arrest was made for the armed robbery which occurred at the 7-Eleven convenience store, located at 310 Chester Ave.
Arrested: Christopher J. Carter, Age 18, resident of Moorestown, New Jersey. He has been charged, arrested and committed to the Burlington County Jail. The charges are Armed Robbery, a first-degree crime; Aggravated Assault, a second-degree crime and Theft, a disorderly persons offense.
A juvenile male has also been charged as an accomplice to the Armed Robbery and Aggravated Assault.

On Oct. 28 at 9:13 p.m. the Moorestown Police Department was dispatched to the 7-Eleven convenience store located at 310 Chester Ave for a report of a robbery that had just occurred.Â
Upon police arrival, it was learned that at approximately 9:11 p.m. a suspect who is described as a black male, 16–20 years of age, approximately 5-feet, 9-inches tall, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, jeans, gray sneakers and carrying a brick in his right hand entered the store while another customer was attempting to make a purchase.Â
The suspect threw the brick at the cashier which struck her in her upper chest/shoulder area. The suspect then proceeded to jump over the counter where he then shoved the cashier to the ground. After the cashier was on the ground the suspect collected the cash from the register. After collecting approximately $37 in cash, the suspect jumped back over the counter, exited the store and was last seen running towards Chester Avenue. Officers searched the area and a K-9 search was performed, however the suspect was not located.Â
