On Oct. 28 at 3:49 a.m. the Moorestown Police Department was dispatched to the 7-Eleven convenience store located at 310 Chester Avenue for the report of a robbery that just occurred.
When officers arrived, they made contact with the clerk and learned that at approximately 3:47 a.m. a light skinned black male who was approximately six-feet tall, 150 pounds, 30 to 40 years of age, black hair and black facial hair, and was wearing a Las Vegas Raiders football jersey (number 24) entered the store. After receiving $40 from the cash drawer, the suspect fled on foot and the cashier ran outside of the store after him. The suspect was last seen entering an unknown dark colored sedan that was parked in the 100 block of East Third Street. The vehicle was last seen turning left onto Newbold Avenue.
The store clerk was not physically injured during the offense. Anyone with information about this armed robbery is urged to contact Moorestown detectives at (856) 914-3092 or [email protected].
