Join the Cherry Hill Environmental Board to make a difference for Cherry Hill Township’s Open Space lands on Sept. 24 from 9 a.m. to noon. Volunteers are needed to work on various projects – trail improvements, trail maintenance, litter pickup, and invasive species removal. Assignments will be distributed upon arrival on September 24.

Those interested should register online at https://bit.ly/3BkIMWT and meet at the large red barn at Croft Farm (100 Bortons Mill Road) at 9 a.m. to sign-in, pick up tools and volunteer assignments.

All volunteers are asked to register in advance (maximum 50 volunteers) and complete a volunteer waiver online.

Attendees are required to bring their own work gloves and water but all other tools and yard waste bags will be provided by the township.

National Public Lands Day is the nation’s largest hands-on volunteer efforts to improve and enhance the public lands Americans enjoy.
