Woman robbed in convenience store parking lot in Moorestown

Anyone with information is urged to contact detectives by phone or email.

Moorestown officers were dispatched to the 7-11 Store, located at 1 West Camden Avenue, on May 20 at 11:35 p.m. regarding an armed robbery in the parking lot. Officers learned that the victim, a 48-year-old female, was confronted while sitting in her vehicle by a masked male. The male suspect demanded the victim’s purse and she refused.

A struggle over the purse occurred. The male suspect then pulled out a handgun, pointed it at the victim, then struck her in the face with the gun. The male suspect then managed to obtain control over the purse and fled on foot. The victim sustained minor injury.
