Director Frank J. DiMarco announces the first Gloucester County Animal Shelter Community Yard Sale to be held on June 26 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The yard sale will be held at the Gloucester County Clayton Complex, 1200 N. Delsea Drive in Clayton.
“This event will allow residents to register to sell their goods and provide exposure to the shelter. We are asking all residents who come to donate to the Pet Food Pantry,” Director DiMarco said.
If you are interested in selling goods at the GCAS Community Yard Sale, apply here: https://www.gloucestercountynj.gov/FormCenter/Animal-Shelter-5/Gloucester-County-Animal-Shelter-Communi-108
Please note that spots are limited and will be awarded on a first come, first served basis.
This event is completely free, but the GCAS is asking for individuals who are selling and those buying to bring donations to their Pet Food Pantry. The GCAS Pet Food Pantry is a food pantry available for individuals in need of food to feed their pets.
“We started the Pet Food Pantry during COVID and immediately saw the need of our residents. Right now, if you’re in need you can call the shelter for pickup times and availability. Our ultimate goal is to make the Pet Food Pantry a walk-up pantry for residents to come with no shame or stigma around it,” said DiMarco. “This event will hopefully bring in enough donations to bring us closer to the opening.”
