The Haddonfield Police Department announced via social media that in April, four-way stop signs will be installed on the four corners surrounding Elizabeth Haddon School. This will take place at the intersections of Mt. Vernon Ave. and Avondale Ave., Avondale Ave. and Redman Ave., Redman Ave. and Peyton Ave., and Payton Ave. and Mt. Vernon Ave.
The change was also announced at the recent Mayor’s Breakfast as an initiative to promote public safety, and is in accordance with the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices, section 2B.07, option B&D.
