Step back in time for a day of history and family fun at the annual Red Bank Battlefield Spring Festival on Sunday, April 9 from noon until 4 p.m. The event is free for all to attend.
“The annual Spring Festival is a great way to enjoy springtime in Gloucester County,” Director Frank J. DiMarco said. “There’s something for everyone to enjoy at the event, from games and crafts for children, a petting zoo and colonial demonstrations to food and unique vendors.”
Colonial demonstrations include labor saving inventions, candle making, military life, magic shows at 1:30 and 3:30 p.m. and much more.
“The Spring Festival is a great way to experience life in colonial Gloucester County and colonial America,” Commissioner Jim Jefferson, liaison to the Department of Parks said. “Along with all the outdoor fun, the James and Ann Whitall House will be open for tours and special battlefield tours are scheduled throughout the day.”
The Red Bank Battlefield Park is located at 100 Hessian Ave. in National Park, N.J.
