Save the Environment of Moorestown prepares pollinator garden for spring

A work session will be held at Swedes Run on April 2 with a rain date for April 3.

Save the Environment of Moorestown (STEM) has scheduled a work session at the Swedes Run Fields pollinator garden for April 2 at 10 a.m. There is a rain date for April 3 at 10 a.m.

Our goal for the work session is to prepare the garden for spring. The three primary projects are to edge the entire garden, weed the garden and then mulch the entire garden and paths. The garden is a great success and it should flourish even more in its second year.

We’ll provide wheelbarrows, rakes and shovels, but if you have a favorite tool, please feel free to bring it along. The township is providing ten yards of mulch. This garden is a great example of what a community can accomplish. I hope to see lots of you there.
