Moorestown’s Local Acts of Kindness Foundation helps Ukrainian refugees

Socks in Box Challenge collects clothing, household items.

Special to The Sun: The Local Acts of Kindness Foundation in Moorestown is accepting donations such as household items for its Socks in Box Challenge to support Ukrainian refugees.

Moorestown has been challenged! The Socks in Box Challenge, a town-wide sock drive for Ukrainian refugees, is in full swing.

Ukrainian refugees fled their country with only the clothes on their backs. Local collections are ongoing, all including a great need for socks.

Other items collected include: new or gently used clean children’s clothing, non-expired formula, mats, dark colored backpacks, raincoats, thermal underwear, first aid kits, pain reliever, bandages, gloves, toothbrushes, toothpaste and soap.

Drop off or mail to Local Acts of Kindness Foundation at 568 Bartram Road, Moorestown, NJ 08057 or email [email protected] to arrange a free pick up from your Moorestown residence.
