Dear Editor,
I am writing to publicly thank our mayor for her efforts to dramatically reduce the use of the air horn by the fire department. My wife and I have lived within very easy hearing of the horn for thirty five years and this news was met by us with a tremendous sense of gratitude and relief now that we are no longer exposed on a near-daily basis to its four blasts. Haddonfield just became a much more peaceful and quiet suburban town.
