Students at Chesterbrook Academy Preschool in Moorestown recently donated more than 100 nonperishable items to the Food Bank of South Jersey.

For two weeks, students held a food drive for the organization, which aims to provide an immediate solution to the urgent problem of hunger.

At the end of the collection, students sorted the food items and helped prepare the donations for delivery to the organization.

Through this initiative, students learned the importance of helping community members in need, especially during the holiday season.
