For the month of November, ending just after the Thanksgiving weekend, Coldwell Banker Realty in Philadelphia and central Pennsylvania held a virtual charity drive to benefit four Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC). For the second year, affiliated agents used social media to reach out to the public for a virtual charity drive that raised approximately $47,000 for four RMHCs in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware, topping last year’s event.
Coldwell Banker Realty in Philadelphia and central Pennsylvania held a virtual charity drive incorporating games and weekly challenges shared on social media as part of a CB REALympics competition. Affiliated real estate agents and staff from 19 offices participated, with the teams from Haddonfield, New Jersey, Franklin County, Pennsylvania and Moorestown, New Jersey topping the fundraising leaderboard.
“The real estate market has been challenging this year and, through it all, the affiliated agents of Coldwell Banker Realty have retained a singular focus on serving clients, family and their communities every day. I am so proud that we were able to top last year’s virtual charity drive and will be able to provide comfort and support to families of seriously ill children via four Ronald McDonald House Charities,” stated David Krieger, president of Coldwell Banker Realty in Philadelphia and central Pennsylvania.
Ronald McDonald House Charities support families of seriously ill children by creating a community of comfort and hope. The organization is built on the foundation of providing holistic support to families which enables them to stay together and remain focused on the health and well-being of their seriously ill child.
The four RMHC organizations who will benefit from Coldwell Banker’s virtual charity drive include the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Philadelphia Region, the Ronald McDonald House Southern New Jersey, the Ronald McDonald House of Delaware and the Ronald McDonald House Charities of central Pennsylvania.
