Release according to Berlin Police Department.
In the early morning hours of Saturday, August 28, a Berlin Police Officer conducted a traffic stop for multiple motor vehicle violations. During the course of the traffic stop, reasonable suspicion was developed that the occupants were involved in criminal activity. A Police K9 was requested in which Voorhees Township Police Department provided assistance. The results of the K9 deployment gave officers probable cause to search the vehicle. During the course of the search, a large quantity of methamphetamine (2.37 OZ), a digital scale and packaging material was located. Also located was a large quantity of an unknown powder (1.48 OZ), that is currently awaiting results from the New Jersey State Police Lab for identification. The two occupants were taken into custody, processed accordingly and remanded to Camden County Jail based off bail reform guidelines.
