Residents safe after fire on Hickory Lane

Medford Fire responded to the incident early Monday

The following release is from the Medford Police Department:

On May 24, 2021 at 2:26 a.m., Police, Fire and EMS units were dispatched to the 100 block of Hickory Lane for a report of a dwelling fire. Upon arrival, the residence was fully involved in flames.

Emergency personnel also determined that several subjects were still located inside the residence. All subjects were safely rescued from inside the residence by emergency personnel with the assistance of an employee on location. Four subjects were transported to Virtua Marlton Hospital for evaluation. One subject was transported to Thomas Jefferson Hospital for smoke inhalation. Evesham and Medford Lakes Fire Departments responded to assist with extinguishing the fire. The Medford Township Police Department and Medford Township Fire Marshall’s Office are actively investigating the incident.
