Seniors in Marlton will soon have another option for upscale retirement living. Arbor Terrace Marlton is being developed by Capitol Seniors Housing (CSH), which has partnered with The Arbor Company to operate this community.
A groundbreaking ceremony for the new Arbor Terrace Marlton will be held at 1:45 p.m. on April 21. The Arbor Company, which operates communities in seven other New Jersey cities, including Mount Laurel, Teaneck, and Middletown, also partnered with CSH for the Mount Laurel community, which opened last year.
“We’re very excited to break ground on another development with The Arbor Company that will bring a best in the class senior living community to Marlton,” said Joe McElwee, Principal – Development, Capitol Seniors Housing. “Marlton is a family-oriented, close-knit community, with top-rated schools, fabulous restaurants, and excellent retail. Arbor Terrace Marlton will fit perfectly in the community and enable residents and their loved ones to receive the care they need while remaining in the community they love.”
The new community, which is expected to open in the summer of 2022, will feature 87 apartments. It will offer assisted living and memory care, as well as Bridges, a transitional program for residents who need added cognitive support due to memory loss.
The three-story community, located on a six-acre site near Route 73, will have 76,500 square feet, of which 30,000 square feet will be common areas. Amenities will include a movie theater, rooftop terrace, sports bar, club room, hair salon, outdoor gardens, and bistro.
“IMC Construction is proud to be on the Capitol Seniors Housing team again developing a first-class assisted living facility in Marlton, NJ,” said Robert Cottone, President and CEO of IMC Construction. “It is a privilege to work alongside professionals whose mission is the care of others and to play a role in the creation of a facility that provides employment and tax revenue to the community.”
The executive director and other key staff members for Arbor Terrace Marlton will be announced at a later date.
