Governor Phil Murphy has announced that municipal elections scheduled for Tuesday, May 11, 2021 will be held on–schedule and in–person at the polls.Â
Three seats on the Haddonfield Board of Commissioners will be on the ballot and voting will take place at six polling locations, according to Borough Clerk Deanna Bennett.Â
Voters may request a mail–in ballot in lieu of voting in–person. Mail–in ballots will not be sent to voters automatically, as was done for the November 2020 election.Â
The N.J. Division of Elections has announced the following dates:Â
- The Nominating Petition filing deadline for candidates for Borough Commissioner is March 8, by 4 p.m. The deadline for new voters to register is April 20. Resident’s may register to vote online at: https://voter.svrs.nj.gov/register.
- Last day for receipt of Vote-by–Mail applications at the County is May 4. After this date all applications must be delivered in person to the County Board of Elections’ Office in Blackwood.
- Polling places will be open from 6:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. on May 11.Â
