First Presbyterian asks residents to confront ‘(Un)simple Truth’

On Monday, December 7, First Presbyterian Church of Moorestown will host an Advent-themed Zoom webinar from 7 to 8 p.m. as part of its online adult spiritual formation series the (Un)simple Truth. The (Un)simple Truth is a free monthly Zoom conversation featuring Christian authors, pastors and professors from around the country. Invite your friends across the country to join in on the first Monday of the month. There is no charge, and everyone is invited to take part safely from the comfort of their own home or campus.

“Becoming Peacemakers” features Amanda Mootz, grassroots organizing manager at World Vision. Mootz collaborates with community leaders, pastors and politicians to make the Gospel a tangible reality for people from all walks of life, particularly those who experience inequality in its many forms. The themes include Advent, discipleship and social justice.

Join the church on the first Monday of every month as they explore how God’s word gives us an alternative way to navigate our world and relationships. The remaining dates include: Dec. 7, Feb. 1, March 1, April 5 and May 3, 2021. There will be no January offering. Follow the Church on Facebook to hear about upcoming presentations each month.
