According to the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office, the Mount Laurel Police Department responded to an office in the 15000 block of Midlantic Drive just before 1 p.m. today on a report of a shooting.
Upon arrival, the suspect peacefully surrendered and was taken into custody. Preliminary reports indicate two people were shot, and have been transported for treatment.
The BCPO does not believe there is any danger to the public at this time.
More information will be released later today.
Update, 5:27 p.m.: It is anticipated that charges will be filed this evening in connection with this shooting. The BCPO will release additional information once those charges have been filed, including condition updates on the victims.
