The long-awaited finale of high school comes for Shawnee High School’s class of 2020 on July 16 and 17.
Three graduations give students chances to walk across the football field one last time while adhering to the six-foot rule and capacity limit of 500 people. Speeches by both students and school administrators remind graduates to live everyday as it is their last.
The famed cap toss is on hold as students congregate on the field, sharing hugs, tears and selfies.
