The Voorhees Animal Orphanage is currently hosting a blueberry fundraiser in partnership with the Voorhees Breakfast Rotary Club. Blueberries are grown by Stoney Creek Blueberries in Hammonton.
Each purchase supports both the local family farm and the VAO, with 100 percent of the proceeds going to the nonprofit to support its Capital Campaign. Purchase orders are able to be made until Monday, July 6, with orders able to be picked up at the VAO on Saturday, July 11 between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Each one box purchase contains six pints of blueberries. Those ordering blueberries must be able to pick up orders at the listed date above between the given times. Orders can be made online at http://farmhousefruit.com/fundraising/vao/.
