HSH Candlelight Dinner set for September

New date of Sept. 23, same authors scheduled.

In its latest bulletin, The Historical Society of Haddonfield revealed that its annual Candlelight Dinner will be postponed until Sept. 23 due to the ongoing coronavirus crisis.

Speakers will still be Joel Spivak along with his co-author Harry Kyriakodis, authors of “Underground Philadelphia: From Caves and Canals to Tunnels and Transit.”

Cocktails start promptly at 6 p.m., dinner at 7 p.m., with speakers at 8 p.m.

Location is still at Tavistock Country Club. Both authors’ books as well as the Society’s published books will be for sale. There will be a silent auction for our guests as well as our What’s It Guessing Game.

Tickets for the What’s It game are $5 per chance. Winner gets the 50/50 cash prize. Sponsorships are still available, and all previously purchased tickets will be honored. For more information please contact the office at (856) 429-7375 or email us at [email protected].
