Rancocas Woods Events & Shops, the organization dedicated to revitalizing and prompting Mt. Laurel’s mom-and-pop Main Street businesses, is pleased to announce its Friday Farmers Market.
The revamped event is scheduled to open Friday, June 12, and will run from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The market will continue every Friday through October 30, rain or shine.
“We’ve been working hard during this ‘hiatus’ and are excited to bring some more new energy and events local to The Woods,” said Janeen Hovnanian of Rancocas Woods Events.
The market’s mission, according to its website, is to “support and promote an economically sustainable, localized food system and business network. It is our intention to contribute to a thriving community in which growers, producers, artisans and neighbors mutually support one another by offering a location for locally-made products to be purchased within the community.”
An array of vendors are invited to apply to sell their food and wares. Applications for agriculture, food, craft and nonprofit vendors can be found toward the bottom of the market’s website, rancocaswoodseventsnshops.com/farmers-market.
