Spring-themed scavenger hunt coming to borough this weekend

Fun spring-themed event designed to get residents off their couches during this difficult time.

The hunt, planned by Haddonfield resident and Commissioner for Public Safety, Colleen Bianco Bezich, is a family-friendly event which is slated to take place over two days: April 11 and 12.

Until the hunt begins, residents are encouraged to decorate their homes and front yards with a spring theme — homemade art and stuffed animals are encouraged. At 3 p.m. on Friday, April 10, visit www.haddonfieldnj.org to download the official event list.

On the above days, Haddonfielders can either walk or drive around town, at your own pace, to look for the items on your list. Always remember to practice social distancing by keeping at least 6 feet apart from neighbors if venturing out on foot.

Participants are asked to photograph their findings and celebrate your success on the hunt by using #HaddonfieldHunt on social media.

Once hunters have completed their list, email: cbbezich@haddonfield-nj.gov to be entered to win town-wide gift certificates. Entries are due no later than 12 p.m. on Monday, April 13.

NB: To allow for proper social distancing and to avoid damage to borough trees, residents are advised to refrain from decorating within the park strip on their properties.
