Delran Township officials have been notified by the Burlington County Health Department that a Delran resident has tested positive for the COVID-19 virus.
Further details on the case have not been released as of Wednesday morning. Delran Township plans to release further information as it becomes available.
In a post on the township website, officials stated the confirmed case shows that residents in any town are not immune to the ongoing pandemic. Officials asked residents to take deliberate efforts to flatten the curve by practicing social distancing and limiting high-risk situations.
