The Gloucester County Department of Health and Human Services and Office of Emergency Management have announced two more positive COVID-19 cases in Gloucester County.
This brings Gloucester County’s total positive COVID-19 cases to eight.
The seventh case is a 56-year-old female from Washington Township who is currently self-isolating at home.
The eighth case is a 52-year-old female from Harrison Township with no travel history. She is currently self-isolating at home.
The Gloucester County Department of Health and Human Services is working with the New Jersey Department of Health to conduct a full assessment that includes identifying the contacts this individual had.
At this time, the overall threat of COVID-19 to Gloucester County residents remains low. Gloucester County is expecting cases to rise. Social distancing is critical in flattening the curve and reducing cases. A mask should only be worn if a healthcare professional recommends it.
