Bunker Hill Middle School will host its third annual Bulldogs Beat Down Leukemia basketball game, a spirited competition between the BHMS girls’ basketball team and the school faculty, on Wednesday, March 4 at 3 p.m. in the school’s gym. Proceeds from the game will benefit a BHMS sixth-grade student who was recently diagnosed with the disease.
Participants from the girls’ basketball team include: (8th graders) Nina Cardamone, Mina Lockhart, Montana Malinowski, Madison Nesmith, Sydney O’Shaughnessy, A’Lynn Shockley; (7th graders) Ella Karp, Alaina Lamonica.
Non-participants but team members who played integral organizational roles include: 8th-grade team managers Ava Gulli and Akiyah Johnson, along with (7th graders) Ally Kelly, Allison Hargrave, Gianna Shippy and (6th graders) Olivia Brewer, Avery Breen, Ava Cornwell, Audrianna Equilin, Amore Hartlet, Emma McCarthy, Eleanor Thompson.
Administrator, teacher and staff participants include: Patrick Goliszewski, Carrie Greco, Shannon Enders, Monica Westerby, Vincent Dacquisto, Jim Gooding, Michael Murro, David Kane, Tara McKenty, Malika Moore, Saumil Prasad, Adrienne Laubin, Mike Petticrew, Beth Marchese, Nick Guerrieri, Greg Muscelli, Mike D’Ostilio
Several teachers also will serve as cheerleaders for the event. Admission is $5.00 at the door.
