Volunteers will be on hand to answer questions about the new facility, the adoption process and more

The Voorhees Animal Orphanage, currently nearing the completion of Phase II of its construction project for its new building, anticipates being able to move in to the new wing in mid-February.

The Voorhees Animal Orphanage is holding a VIP grand opening and leash-cutting event to celebrate the completion of construction for their long-awaited, new 8,900 sq. foot facility on Wednesday, Feb. 12.

The event will feature remarks from VAO leadership and Voorhees Township Mayor Michael R. Mignogna, followed by a celebratory dog parade and new building tour at its existing location at 419 Cooper Road next to the Voorhees Township Fire Department.

Volunteers will be on hand to answer questions about the new facility, the adoption process and more.
