Cedar Run welcoming new residents on Feb. 8

Join the refuge to formally welcome its newest residents with an afternoon of excitement.

Join Woodford Cedar Run in preparation for the upcoming arrival of thousands of injured and/or orphaned wild animals on Feb. 8, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Medford United Methodist Church (2 Hartford Road, Medford).

Admission is free with a gift from the refuge’s wish list which includes the following:

HE Laundry Detergent, Manuka honey, Dawn dish soap, multi-pack of paper towels and tissues, Pine-Sol, gauze pads, Amazon gift cards (any amount), nonstick medical pads, puppy pads, Rodent Pro gift cards (any amount), Q-Tips, heating pad discs, green vegetable baby food, cotton balls, exam gloves of all sizes, orange vegetable baby food, one-ply toilet paper, 39-gallon trash bags and berries (fresh or frozen).

If an item could not be purchased from the wish list, a $5 cash donation can be made at the door.

Light refreshments, crafts for kids and special appearances by non-releasable wildlife will be available.
