Police: Noise complaints leads to summons for animal cruelty

The following information was provided to The Sun from the New Jersey State Police.

The New Jersey State Police responded to noise complaints on a property in the 500 block of Oakshade Road on Dec. 19. Andrew Meyer, 27, was issued a summons complaint by troopers for animal cruelty.

On the morning of Dec. 20, troopers returned to the property and removed several dogs from a detached structure. There are various vets and agencies who are checking on the conditions of the dogs, and the state police will provide an update when the animals’ conditions are confirmed.

The investigation remains ongoing.

Editors Note: In October, The Sun reported on residents’ concerns over noises at the property, which could be viewed here.
