Good Shepherd Episcopal Church of Pitman announces season schedule

The Church of the Good Shepherd Episcopal Church of Pitman is announcing its schedule of Christmas services for this season, including New Years. Good Shepherd, which celebrated its 110th anniversary in 2017, has an active and vital congregation, as well as one of the largest church schools in the diocese. 

The Christmas and New Years schedule is as follows: 

Dec. 7 & 8 – Second Sunday in Advent

Saturday, Contemplative Prayer – 4:30 p.m.  
Saturday, Holy Eucharist – 5:30 p.m.           
Sunday, Contemplative Prayer – 9 a.m.  
Sunday, Holy Eucharist – 10 a.m.  

Dec. 14 & 15 – Third Sunday in Advent

Saturday, Contemplative Prayer – 4:30 p.m.  
Saturday, Holy Eucharist – 5:30 p.m.           
Sunday, Contemplative Prayer – 9 a.m.  
Sunday, Holy Eucharist – 10 a.m. with the Children’s Christmas Pageant after the service.

Dec. 21 & 22 – Fourth Sunday in Advent

Saturday, Contemplative Prayer – 4:30 p.m.  
Saturday, Holy Eucharist – 5:30 p.m.           
Sunday, Contemplative Prayer – 9 a.m.  
Sunday, Holy Eucharist – 10 a.m. with the Choir’s Christmas Cantata (Greening of the Church after the service).

Dec. 24 – Christmas Eve

Our Family Eucharist celebrating the Birth of our Lord, Jesus – 7 p.m.     
Festival Eucharist with special music – 10 p.m.   

Dec. 25 – Christmas Day
