The Freeholder Board inducted 12 Camden County athletes, representing nine area high schools, into the Camden County Sports Hall of Fame on Oct. 24. B. Martin Ludwikowski and Bo Gray of Cherry Hill High School West were two of this year’s inductees.
“Above all else, athletics are about character, leadership, and teamwork,” said Freeholder Director Louis Cappelli, Jr. “These men and women are being honored for bringing not just athletic success to their respective institutions, but for being stewards of sportsmanship and respect on the field and off.”
Each year, 12 individuals who have brought lasting fame and recognition to sports in Camden County by their efforts as competitors, officials, managers, promoters or other capacities, are inducted into the Sports Hall of Fame. The Hall is intended to foster sports participation in our area by highlighting and honoring the achievements and contributions of alumni, coaches and officials.
