Mantua Township postpones Trick-or-Treating

Due to the weather, Trick-or-Treating is being postponed until Friday, Nov. 1, from 3 to 8 p.m.

Mantua Township Police Department announced on Tuesday, Oct. 29 that due to the weather, Trick-or-Treating is being postponed until Friday, Nov. 1, from 3 to 8 p.m. The Township apologizes for the inconvenience and stated that the reason is due to the safety of residents.

Predicted forecasts show on-and-off rain showers Thursday afternoon and Thursday night.

According to the National Weather Service, there’s a 70 percent chance of rain showers in each region of New Jersey during the day on Thursday and an 80 percent chance at night.

On Friday, the National Weather Service is predicting a chance of showers before 11 a.m, then mostly sunny with a 30 percent chance of precipitation throughout the day.
