Voorhees Township will be honoring 39 veterans tonight at the Voorhees Town Center as they are inducted into the Veterans Wall of Honor. The ceremony will be held at 6:30 p.m. with a program in the Main Court area on the lower level of the Voorhees Town Center.
The Veterans Wall of Honor was initiated in 2014 and is located in Town Hall and will be viewed immediately following the program.
The 39 veterans being added to the wall this year brings the total to 436 at the Voorhees Town Center since its inception five years ago. This year’s additions include six Air Force Veterans, 13 Navy Veterans, 15 Army Veterans and five Marines. Thirteen of this year’s honorees fought in World War II.
