Friends of Barclay Farmstead celebrate an illegal discovery

Help Friends of Barclay Farmstead commemorate the 1936 discovery of an illegal still at the farmstead. While the Barclay family vehemently denied any knowledge of the still, the Feds confiscated their Cherry Hill and Haddonfield properties. Salacious? Perhaps! But we can’t think of a better excuse for an evening of food, friends and fun.

Join us as Chef Shawn Harris of Brookfield Academy’s Culinary Arts Program teams up with The King’s Road Brewing Company to provide a delectable tasting menu and beer pairings, and also enjoy our Signature Cocktail. The event will take place on Friday, Oct. 4 at 6:30 p.m.

Tickets are $40 per person and can be purchased at Friends-of-Barclay-Farmstead.ticketleap.com. Admission is strictly limited to 150 guests. Don’t forget your ID, as proof of age is required to enter the event. This is a fundraiser to benefit our historical programs and renovations. Event held rain or shine. Get your tickets on ticketleap today.
