Friends Meeting House to host event for NJ immigrant families

A chief NJ Immigration Attorney for the American Friends Service Committee will speak at the Medford Friends (Quaker) Meeting House on August 4.

Friends Meeting House in Medford is hosting a Defending NJ’s Immigrant Families event on August 4. Telling a little-known human story, Nicole Miller, chief NJ Immigration Attorney at the American Friends Service Committee, will speak in South Jersey at the Medford Friends (Quaker) Meeting House on August 4. She will describe how a cadre of dedicated lawyers work to defend and protect the rights of New Jersey’s immigrant families. All are welcome to traditional Quaker Worship at 10 a.m. and Ms. Miller’s presentation at 11:30 a.m. Light refreshments to be served.
