Voorhees Township Fire Department responds to morning fire

The Voorhees Township Firefighters, along with multiple mutual aid agencies, responded to an apartment fire on the 100 Block of Kirkbride Rd this morning at approximately 2 a.m.

Special to The Sun: The Voorhees Township Fire Department responded to a 2 a.m. call last night.

The following is a release by the Voorhees Township Fire Department:

The Voorhees Township Fire Department, along with multiple mutual aid agencies, responded to an apartment fire on the 100 Block of Kirkbride Rd this morning at approximately 2 a.m.

The fire occurred during the torrential downpour. There were no reported serious injuries.

The Voorhees Township Fire Department received assistance from the Camden County OEM, Camden County FM, Voorhees Police, Berlin Borough, Berlin Township, Cherry Hill, Chews Landing, Gibbsboro, Glendora, Lawnside, Lindenwold, Somerdale, Stratford and the American Red Cross.
