The next free rabies clinic at the Burlington County Animal Shelter will be held on Tuesday, June 18, from 3 to 4 p.m.
Officials advise the public not to arrive earlier then 2:30 p.m., as as the veterinarian does not start to administer the vaccine until 3 p.m.
Those who attend this event should bring proof of prior rabies vaccine (tag, certificate, township license, veterinarian records) so the animal may receive a three year booster. Without proof of prior vaccine, the vaccine administered on Dec. 18 will only be marked for one year.
The line for this event will form in the front of the building, outside, so members of the public are advised to dress accordingly to the weather.
