I think the Mt. Laurel Council is right to move to a nonpartisan election.

National political fights should have nothing to do with our town and the local issues that matter most to us.

Honestly, issues like trash or snow removal or police and fire departments have nothing to do with Donald Trump vs. Nancy Pelosi.

It seems like the Democrat party here wants to use Trump as some sort of boogeyman to get people to the polls and consolidate power.

I’d personally rather see our council members work on our behalf and lower our taxes, instead of trying to gain political control.
